Crap!

I've been exposed to swine flu. My co-worker came in yesterday morning coughing all over the place. He left at noon. He had just come back from a business trip and everyone who went on the trip with him was sick also. He called today and said it was confirmed swine flu. Two days before I'm supposed to start injections. Wonderful.

I hate when people come in to the office sick. It's so selfish!

I'm sure you'll be okay.

I hope you used loads of hand sanitizer or washed your hands a lot the day he was in the office. I would be so ticked. Why don't people get that when they are sick everyone tells them to go home so they don't get everyone else sick? They always think that sticking it out makes them look like a trooper, when in reality it makes them look like an @$$.

I really hope you don't get sick. Lots of sanitizer!

OH NO! I've had it. It's no joke. Hope you stayed as far away as possible from your co-worker and look out for any of your co-workers he/she did get to close to...

Grr. That just makes me so mad! Why do people insist on coming to work sick???

Luckily, if you have been exposed, while it's not the perfect time to have it, if you did get it, you would hopefully be fully over it before transfer day. It's not fun to be sick AND shooting yourself up, but from what I understand, barring super long-term super high fevers, sickness during stimming is not a deal-breaker (though definitely ask your RE...). I'm just reporting on what I found out when I began obsessively researching after H had the Swine Flu right before I started my meds. Luckily, I never got it, but as soon as I'm cleared by my RE, I will ABSOLUTELY get my vaccination.

Oh no! I hate when that happens. I have become very germaphobic. I hope you don't get sick!
