Wow. Long time no post. Sorry about that.
Well, yesterday was Thanksgiving. It wasn't too bad actually. I'm in a better place this year than I was last year. Still not where I want to be, but it's better.
I started off the day running a 10k. I haven't really seriously run in about a year and then I randomly decide to run 6.2 miles. I'll just say that there were a lot of walk breaks. The weather was gorgeous so that helped and I was running with a friend.
After the race we went to my dad's house to spend Thanksgiving with them. We ate lunch, then my dad and I watched Saving Private Ryan. (I know that's random, but I'd never seen it). My brothers showed up after that and we played cards for a while. It was a pretty laid-back Thanksgiving, but we enjoyed it.
We got home around 8:30 loaded down with leftovers. I was exhausted. I thought it was just because of the 10k that I ran on a whim that morning. It was that, plus I started my period. I had no idea. No cramps at all. It looks like the surgery I had in October was a success. Normally, I would be laid up in bed on painkillers. Not this time though. That's something to be thankful for!
