So I was saying that everything with me was normal so far. But I got a call today.
My progesterone level from yesterday was 7.6. They told me they want to see it around 25. So now I have a prescription for some progesterone suppositories that I'm to start taking tonight.
We're not really trying this month, they were just tracking my cycle to see if I had any issues. So I'm not sure if the progesterone is just in case I happened to get pregnant this month by some miracle, or if they want to see how I respond to it.

I'm sorry that the progesterone was so low. Not sure why they are giving you the suppositories either, but maybe it's like you said, that they are looking to see whether your body responds to them.
From what I understand, progesterone (my OB friend told me) is a measure of the "strength" of ovulation. When I had my miscarriage, my progesterone was only 9. I wondered if that caused it, but my doc said my progesterone was low b/c I ovulated a "bunk" egg (his words). Truly, they don't really know the cause and effect. But I tell you this to say that your progesterone could be low just during this cycle and not during others. However, from what you've written before..it could also be a luteal phase defect, and progesterone supplements may be just what you need.
