Beta is in two days. I'm conflicted. Because I'm an obsessive madwoman I've been taking HPTs every day (since before the transfer, to see when the trigger was gone).
Today I woke up lightheaded and dizzy and slightly nauseated. But test was still negative. I should probably throw the tests out and wait until I get the official news on Thursday, but I just can't. I know it's stupid. I might even go to the dollar store after work and get some of the cheapo tests there since I've read that those are the most sensitive. Right now I'm using the multitude of tests that I got from the Resolve conference. I don't think they're early tests, i.e. not very sensitive.
Like I said, I'm obsessed. Only two more days. I'm back at work today and while I have tons to do and am keeping myself busy, the time is just creeping by.
Lucky for me though, today is the release date of the new Sims 3 expansion pack. Another obsession of mine. So tonight I will be tied up with this:

I can't wait to play! I got mine over my lunch break and I've been trying to see if I can find any tidbits online from folks who have alreadystarted playing.
I hope your tests are neg because it's just too early. Keeping fingers crossed for you!
I used to LOVE Sims. I had every single expansion pack for the original Sims and Sims 2. I haven't played much since 3 came out. It is so dang much fun! I kind of miss it sometimes.
Only a few more days until your beta! I will be thinking of you and sending you well wishes.
*hugs*
I'm sorry about your negative HPTs, but I wouldn't call the game out until you get your beta! I'm really hoping for you that it's just too early to see a positive yet. I think my first beta was at 8dp5dt, which was the very first time I saw a very clearly positive HPT. I had seen extremely faint positive tests before that, but they were, like, squint-and-angle-and-probably-evaporation-line positives.
Yay! Can't wait to hear your beta result!
GIRL...what did I tell you!?!?!? stay away from those HPT's! :)
